Artistic Research
"As a singer, composer and artist I am experimenting with myself by intensely exploring the nature of genuine consciousness as well as by creating and experiencing direct and authentic artistic expression in the attempt to explain the nature of genuine consciousness.
I am motivated by the visionary description of a new kind of physics by the English mathematician and physicist Roger Penrose.
He characterises quantum coherence in the macroscopic dimension as potential key to a non-computable but non-random action at the boundary between classical and
quantum physics and therefore considers it a chance to approach the nature of genuine consciousness - directly connected with the fundamental space-time structure of this physics.
Regarding my current artistic works and singing I come to the following conclusion:
Moments of consciousness consist of innumerable facets, for example rational aspects and memory but also qualia, binding, inspiration and free will.
Hence, they are able to form art.
As quantum information is possibly time-symmetric, backwards directed information of future conscious moments could sensitise or guide present ones. Conversely, present consciousness could be able to foresee future ones.
But how large could the possible temporal interval be?
The degree and the strength of one's own creation depends on the state of one's present consciousness and possibly on an awareness permeating through previous or even following moments of present consciousness.
Optionally, the creation remains inside consciousness and becomes accessible to other conscious beings via quantum entanglement.
Creation can express itself through the sound vibration (of the human) voice.
I consider the first moment of a subjective new creation the strongest moment of this individual consciousness and of possible other conscious identities experiencing or jointly creating this moment.
It normally has a global character and is extra wholistic within a physical action. Within its non-computable but non-random action, authentic and intensive consciousness is able to decide by itself which moments are creative by means of its direct connection to the fundamental structure of the universe and its possible intrinsic platonic values.
At the least in subjective conscious moments, we are able to become aware of our own consciousness.
In my view, consciousness does not depend on scientific theories. Penrose's model can be a positive scientific affirmation of the subjective individual, especially of his/her artistic self-image beyond the predominant bounded machine model of consciousness.
As a performer and composer, I therefore prefer creations that give performers the opportunity to use a multitude of their own powerful conscious facets to create their own self-contained expression.
Above all, new forms of creation and performance could be developed through the possibility of quantum entanglement between individual brains.
Quantum entangled singing or singing exclusively inside consciousness could go beyond the physical restrictions of conventional singing.
Since a temporally and areally non-local consciousness is considered to be transcendent, art possibly becomes transcendent, too, as it is distributed non-locally in the universe - even as a memory or a transcendent unity after the death of a conscious identity.
Perhaps this kind of distributed consciousness is able to express itself via other or actually living conscious identities.
According to my own theoretical scenario, whole conscious identities come to be able to protect themselves from environmental decoherence.
Protected in such a way, they by themselves reach quantum coherent superposition of the most different singing states.
As I regard non-human living beings as conscious too, I integrate them as audience and artists into my work."

I was born in Regensburg, Germany. I lived there until I acquired the general qualification for university entrance.
As a graduate in Integrated Design of the University of Arts Bremen I began to study voice and composition at the Folkwang University of Arts Essen.
Study of voice with singer and music artist Sigune von Osten, opera soloist Jagna Sokorska-Kwika, opera soloist and vocal artist Angelika Luz.
2013 I graduated at the Folkwang University of the Arts and was chosen for a grant of the Antonie-Leins Art Foundation, Germany.
In my singing and artwork I am mainly concerned with performance and contempoary music but also with the classical oeuvre like that of Richard Wagner.
